Our Services
NRS uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Solid Modeling, and Numerical and Mathematical Modeling to support the analysis of manufacturing processes and product performance for a wide range of mechanical systems.
Manufacturing processes within our scope include forming and forging, heat treatment (including prediction of distortion and residual stress), machining, and grinding. Aspects of product performance include static and dynamic stress analysis, thermal stresses, dynamic analysis of mechanisms, fracture and fatigue prediction, elastic-plastic deformation, contact and surface interaction, and design optimization.
Through our project consulting, we can provide a one-time solution for a particular problem, or we can develop methodologies and custom software for repeatedly solving classes of related problems. We are also happy to provide technical advice and review services to support our clients' own analytical work on an hourly or retainer basis.
