NRS Facilities
 Our computation runs in-house on dual-Intel-processor, workstation-class Windows computers by Dell. For exceptionally large problems, we have access to more powerful computers ranging from UNIX workstations to massively parallel supercomputers.
We use ABAQUS for general-purpose FEA—structural, thermal, and coupled analyses, both linear and nonlinear.
For mathematical modeling we use pencil and paper, supplemented heavily by Mathematica and/or special-purpose programs we create in FORTAN or C++.
Testing, machining, materials characterization, metallurgical analysis, statistical analysis, etc., are often required as a supplement to, or in conjunction with, our work. To meet these needs, we have alliance relationships with a selection of highly qualified, experienced, and expert specialists in each of those areas.
